Roshan Ravi
An introvert in his mid-forties who won’t shut up about design, movies, and photography. The one who considers George Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm as holy texts. That guy who creates a playlist with jazz, Hip-Hop, Progressive Death Metal and Electronic Music. An amateur photographer with passion for wildlife photography.
Dad of Neal, Amateur Photographer and UX Strategist
Professional Bio
I’m a seasoned UX Strategist with over 20 years of experience in crafting exceptional digital products. Starting out in Graphics and Web Design in the early 2000s, I was introduced to User Experience Design through Usability and Web Accessibility. I am a steadfast proponent of a User-Centric, Research-Based approach to problem-solving and design.
Design Methodology
My design methodology blends Human-Centered Design processes with Systems Thinking, serving creativity as a catalyst for innovation and change.
Human-Centered Design
I follow Human-Centered design methodology, putting people at the center of the design process. User research and regular testing of the designs and prototypes with users are an integral part of the process.
Rebellious Creativity
Rebellious creativity is about pushing boundaries to inspire positive change and drive innovation. It’s a mindset that refuses to accept limitations, instead viewing them as opportunities to rethink, re-imagine, and design solutions that make a lasting impact.
Systems Thinking
Systems Thinking is an approach that views problems and solutions as part of an interconnected system allowing us to understand the broader ecosystem in which users interact with a product or service.
By examining the connections between user needs, behavior, business goals, technological constraints, and environmental and socio-economic factors, I identify and solve customer and user experience issues by challenging conventions and applying innovative, rebellious creativity.
